Maze is pre-alpha: reading, searching, triaging, writing and sending mail work, and so do AI agents once you turn them on; expect rough edges. These pages are rendered straight from the docs/ folder of the repository, so they always describe the code next to them.

Quick start

1. Download Maze, drag it to Applications and start it.
2. Sign in the CLI with a token you approve in Maze:eval "$(mazemail login --profile triage --ttl 8h)"
3. Add an account with Add Account… in the folder pane, or import a whole Thunderbird profile.
4. Upload old mail into an account: mazemail import ~/old-mail.mbox --account a_…
5. Search: mazemail search 'from:anna has:attachment after:2026-09-01'
6. Write: cmd n opens a new message in a tab, r replies.
7. Optional: share an account with agents and pick one in the agent column (Agents).
